In 2017 Dixfield students, along with students from Canton, Carthage, and Peru reformed RSU#56. The schools in Dixfield are TW Kelly Middle School and Dirigo High School. Dirigo Elementary School opened in the fall of 2008 and is located in Peru. For more information, please visit the RSU 56 site
