The Dixfield Select Board members serve as the Board of Assessors

Basic Tax Information
Taxes due September 15th and April 15th each year. Interest begins September 16th and April 16th at the rate of 4%. The Town of Dixfield accepts postmarks as payment date. All tax bills will be mailed each year to the owner of record as of April 1st. Dixfield’s percentage of Fair Market Value was set at 85% by the State of Maine. Urban residents of Dixfield are hooked to the Town’s water and sewer systems, although some have private septic systems and/or wells.
